The 1st version of Sinews was essentially a Baldwin Burns Buzzaround fuzz with the treble boost from the Roland Bee Baa, a vintage Japanese fuzz, replacing the original Buzzaround circuit's germanium darlington preamp section. This project will evolve with different iterations on this theme. A 2026 version is in progress which will utilize a tweaked version of the Vox Treble Boost serving as the front end to drive the fuzz section.
